Well, after spending the bulk of June in the hospital in intensive care and having three surgical procedures, I am finally home now. This is my first full day back at home and my oldest daughter has volunteered to help her old man out for a few days. Right now she is spoiling me by preparing a spaghetti dinner!
One of my favorite features of this site is the area in which we display "Famous Photos." These are all user-submitted works and they are all taken from our Flickr.com photo group. I just got a phone call from one of our favorite local photographers, Shootenpicsbob, whose work we feature often. He called to tell me that he had organized a photo expedition heading to Berkley today that will include other members of our photo group.

Looks like we are going to be part of a Historical Tradition here in Modesto tomorrow. Look for me in the 4th of July Parade! Hurray! Modesto Scrabble Club will hold it's first offical gathering on May 7th at the Queen Bean Coffee House in Modesto from 7:00-9:00pm. We then plan to meet every first and third Wednesday (same place, same time). Humans of any age (and that are capable of playing a decent game) are encouraged to join. There is no fee. Players are asked to bring a Scrabble board and official Scrarbble Dictionary.
